The new four-story building designated as the Health and Wellness Center is integral to Whitney Center’s LifeCare program and the assurance it offers to residents whose experience changes in health and mobility that require assistance with daily living. The center will house two Assisted Living floors—each with 16 new one-bedroom apartments. Residents of the center will enjoy a new central dining room, new activities rooms and outdoor roof gardens at the third floor level.

The Health and Wellness Center will also be home to a new Nursing Center, offering skilled nursing care on the second floor and specialized memory support care on the first floor. Outdoor patios will be accessible from the second floor, and special enclosed gardens have been incorporated into the design of the first floor.
